Cross Cooling System:

Arri’s innovative cross cooling system is designed to reduce lamp housing and lens temperatures significantly. By incorporating special air channels into the aluminum extrusion, a continuous stream of air is directed around the Fresnel lens and lamphead, regardless of the tilt angle. This cooling system helps prevent overheating and ensures consistent performance.

Beam Control:

The Arri T2 Fresnel is highly versatile, offering variable beam control. When fitted with a 2000-watt bulb, it can provide a beam with a diameter of 1.4 meters at a distance of 6 meters at full spot. At full flood, the beam expands to 6.9 meters in diameter at the same distance, making it suitable for a wide range of lighting scenarios.

Strong and Lightweight Construction:

The fixture components are made from pressure die-cast and extruded aluminum, resulting in a strong yet lightweight build. This design improves durability, makes handling easier, and offers resistance to corrosion.

Redesigned Stirrup:

The stirrup mounting is adjustable and designed to counterbalance all accessories, enhancing the versatility of the fixture. The extruded aluminum construction ensures strength and durability while keeping the fixture lightweight. The soft contour makes it comfortable to carry.

The True Blue fixtures are designed for easy maintenance and repair, with quick access to all internal components. The smooth lamp housing surfaces simplify cleaning and upkeep.

Safety and Durability:

The Arri T2 Fresnel meets IP23 standards, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It provides a degree of protection against falling rain up to a 60° angle from vertical. It has a CE declaration and has been independently assessed for TUV certification. The laser-cut hexagonal safety mesh maximizes light transmission and can withstand the rigors of location shooting.
