The Moza Slypod E, a motorized monopod, mounts horizontally or vertically. Compact at 1.9″, it extends 11″. Onboard buttons select from 10 motion speeds, ranging from an ultra-slow 0.15mm per second to a maximum speed of 1.1″ per second. Within this range, the companion iOS/Android app offers 100 different speeds. The motor operates nearly silently at slow speeds. Additionally, the app enables setting up assigned travel routes, time-lapse capture, and more.
Mount the Slypod E on a tripod for motorized dolly, track, and boom shots. It supports a safety payload of 9 lb horizontally and 20 lb vertically. The built-in mounting plate features 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads for horizontal attachment to tripods. Vertical mounting is possible with a provided 1/4″-20 threaded hole on the bottom.
Power and Compatibility:
An internal battery powers the Slypod E for approximately two hours and recharges in about three hours via USB Type-C. The LED ring on the bottom indicates battery status. Use the included adapter to attach a camera or mount a handheld gimbal for combined motion.
Note:
The companion app supports iOS and Android, but not yet the Samsung Galaxy S10 or some Samsung and LG phones. Moza is working on a Motorized monopod for horizontal or vertical mounting
